After a cold early morning start in Canberra at 6.50am we are still sitting at Sydney airport waiting for our flight to the US. We are surrounded by a contingent of young American students who are ambassadors of the People to People program. We are just amusing ourselves watching the endless stream of them going to the food vending machines.

The flight has been delayed for another half hour so it looks like we won’t get away until after 11am now.

Once we are on board, we settle down for the long flight to Los Angeles before continuing onto New York.

We are excited about the trip which is a combined holiday and business trip to the Affiliate Summit in Miami.

Neither of us have been to the US before so we are really looking forware to seeing the sights.
