Okay, so we have worked out the principles of driving on the right side of the road – follow the car in front and always remember that the driver is on the side of the medium strip.

Here we are on highway 95 going north when all of a sudden the road changes it’s name and we see highway 95 on an underpass running parallel to us. “How the blazes did that happen?” Okay – panic stations, now what.

We turn off at Fort Lauderdale to see if we can find out how to get back onto Highway 95. A few miles down the road we realise we are going further away from the highway so we turn off the main road into a subdivision and ask a couple of women for directions.

Back on our way again in the right direction and it turns out that we should have just continued on the original road.

We stop at a roadside rest stop to get some water and snacks. These rest stops are scattered up and down the highway. They are extremely clean facilities and huge compared to Australian standards.

We decide to go to the Kennedy Space Station at Cape Canaveral before heading to Disney World to save a round trip to Orlando.
