Finally Got the Site Working in Wordpress

Well we have had a few teething problems with getting this site up and running on Wordpress, but we finally made it.
The template needs some work to pretty it up but at least the site is working.
When Paula first transferred the old blogger site , it came over without any of the posts so we thought “Great, what now!”. At the time it appeared we weren’t the only ones having problems as there were quite a number of other posts in the forum about the same issue. Well Wordpress assist decided to close down so there was no help available there.
A thorough search of the Wordpress forums finally revealed someone who had the answer and it wasn’t long before all the posts appeared where they should be.
So here we are and we are happy to be with Wordpress as it has much more functionality than blogger. Although having said that we have been quite happy with Blogger for a number of years now and still have blogs with them.
