A Home Away From Home

Usually when Paula and I travel overseas there is just the two of us. This is because our trips are generally business related.

However, there are times when my husband comes with us and we then have the need to book two rooms in a hotel.  And funnily enough Paula’s room at single rates often costs more than Val’s and my room at the regular rate.

We are going to the United States in February for the Affiliate Marketing Convention and we also are intending to attend the Stargate Convention in Vancouver in April,  so this raises some issues regarding what we are going to do between the two conventions.

Val would like to see some of the US so I thought that if he flew over after the Affiliate Marketing convention and he could join us for a couple of weeks US sightseeing. And then we might head over to Europe again for a few weeks.  We will just play it by ear.

Rather than stay in hotels when we next go to the States, we have been looking at the option of staying in  Vacation homes as we travel around.  This is a great option for a number of reasons.  Its a less expensive option when there is more than 2 people, there are cooking and washing facilities and it will give us the opportunity to stay in a number of different towns so that we can really experience all the States has to offer
