We had a nice sleep in and set off for Planet Hollywood in Times Square to pick up our New York Passes. These are great value for money as they allow the user free entry or reduced entry costs into a number of attractions as well as shopping discounts. We then headed down Broadway to check out the theatres and to find where our show will be. (We will be seeing Mama Mia on Thursday night.) The plane trip was long, very, very, very long. We spent the time watching movies, playing games and eating. Not very much sleeping was involved. When we arrived in Los Angeles we had to leave the plane. We thought it would be like Singapore where we could have a shower and watch a movie until the plane left. After a cold early morning start in Canberra at 6.50am we are still sitting at Sydney airport waiting for our flight to the US. We are surrounded by a contingent of young American students who are ambassadors of the People to People program. We are just amusing ourselves watching the endless stream of them going to the food vending machines.
