After our stay at the Holiday Inn Express,Metrotown Burnaby for the Stargate convention we moved to downtown Vancouver for a couple of days. Since we have had great stays at all of the Holiday Inns we have stayed in so far, we decided to stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites, Vancouver Downtown, at 1110 Howe St. The cost for the 2 days was $104 for the first night and $137 for the second. We booked it a couple of days before we intended to leave Burnaby. Trying to save on yet another taxi fare, we decide to catch the Skytrain from…

Stargate SG -1 & Stargate Atlantis Convention 2008, Vancouver BC
This week we attended the Stargate Convention in Burnaby, Vancouver. We purchased the Preferred Weekend Package for the event which wasn’t as good as the Gold Package but unfortunately it was a last minute idea to attend and the Gold tickets were sold out. So we feel pretty special arriving at the Holiday Inn in our sleek black limo. After booking in and dropping off our bags we head…
