To all you romantics out there – take our advice and visit Paris. We stayed at the Hôtel Louvre Saint-Romain which was a little hotel about 2 minutes walk from the Louvre. A great location in the city center at 5-7, Rue Saint Roch. The room was comfy and was decidedly larger than the one we had in London. After a great few days in London we hopped on the Chunnel Train to Paris. The Eurostar was a must do experience for us. We wanted to travel through the channel tunnel so we weren’t too worried that it might be more expensive than a boat trip across. Wanda wasn’t particular keen on travelling by boat anyway due to sea sickness.
