Now this is a great little website for the seasoned traveller. www.seeyourhotel.com is a website that provides a map based facility to allow you to find hotels on a map. I had a quick play using New York as an example as this is where we will be heading off to in July of this year. The website allows you to search for a location by using either the search facility or the drop down boxes provided. Star City Hotel

On our recent trip to Sydney we stayed at the Star City Hotel, a 5 star hotel that is just great. It reminds me of something you would see in Las Vegas (not that I have been there) but on a lesser scale. As we drove from Canberra to Sydney, a three hour drive, we left our car with the valet who whisked our car away. The valet parking was quite cheap at $27 for a 24 hour period. OOH LA LA Magnifique Paris is Magnificent

To all you romantics out there – take our advice and visit Paris. We stayed at the Hôtel Louvre Saint-Romain which was a little hotel about 2 minutes walk from the Louvre. A great location in the city center at 5-7, Rue Saint Roch. The room was comfy and was decidedly larger than the one we had in London. Once we had dropped of our luggage, we set out to walk up the Champs-Élysées which is of course the most famous, fashionable street in Paris. Next stop…Paris via the Eurostar!

After a great few days in London we hopped on the Chunnel Train to Paris. The Eurostar was a must do experience for us. We wanted to travel through the channel tunnel so we weren’t too worried that it might be more expensive than a boat trip across. Wanda wasn’t particular keen on travelling by boat anyway due to sea sickness.
