For our last few days in Vegas we decided to stay at Caesars Palace. We had stayed here before on a previous visit but at that time we were given an upgraded room in the Forum Tower. This time, we were offered an upgrade for $50.00 but we declined and so we had a standard room in the Roman Tower. We’re Off to Vegas

It’s been a while since we went overseas. The last time I went was in 2009 with my husband and we went to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and San Francisco. We had intended on going to Portland to see the Spruce Goose, but time didn’t permit. This time I am going with my best friend and business partner Paula and we are going to spend all of our time in Vegas. Las Vegas – Caesars Palace – Things to Know

The world famous Caesars Palace is a luxury hotel and casino in Las Vegas, USA.  It’s on the west side of Las Vegas Strip, between the Bellagio and the Mirage, in Paradise, a township in Nevada. With it’s Roman theme, this is one of my favorite Casino’s, mind you they are all pretty impressive. Caesars Palace is owned by Harrah’s Entertainment and is a vast complex of 3,348 rooms in five towers.  These are called the Augustus, Centurion, Roman, Palace and Forum. As a treat, we decided to check into Caesars Palace for a couple of nights. We had walked through the hotel a number of times and just loved it so when we found a really cheap rate on their website for $150US per night for their spa package we decided to take it. The hotel is located in an absolutely prime position on The Strip. You really can’t get much better than this. Yesterday we checked in and it was an interesting experience.
