This week we attended the Stargate Convention in Burnaby, Vancouver. We purchased the Preferred Weekend Package for the event which wasn’t as good as the Gold Package but unfortunately it was a last minute idea to attend and the Gold tickets were sold out. The Preferred Package got us a reserved ticket (albeit down the back of the hall), complimentary autographs by most of the stars attending and a tour of the Stargate set at Bridge Studios. After leaving San Diego to head to Vancouver for the Stargate Convention, we learned one valuable lesson, pack something to eat on the plane as they only serve drinks.  We arrive at Vancouver airport and decide to take a limousine to the hotel, mainly because it is only slightly dearer than a taxi and if we take a shuttle, we have to change buses or transfer to the Skytrain as we are going to Burnaby.
