This structure is much different than other traditional architecture in the area, because the lighting is predominately obtained from very low windows. The palace has nearly 300 rooms. Visitors and tourists can tour the apartments, reception rooms, kitchens, and other areas that are open to the general public. The location itself used to be controlled by the Glaoui, and it was used as a Saharan caravan route to West Africa. If you are a history buff at heart, then you must experience the beauty of The Kasbah Taourirt.
